You can determine the surface velocity of a conveyor system in FPM (feet per minute) by knowing the diameter of the driven pulley or sprocket and the RPM it is turning. By multiplying the pulley/sprocket diameter by the RPM then by .262, you will know the speed of the conveyor in feet per minute.
